I was once told by a professional photographer that she hoped to get ONE good shot for every FOUR she took. I think it all depends on your subject. When they are non-stop boys, my average is a bit lower! :)
Here's a usable image... and my first haiku (inspired by my son who has been doing these. I'm still trying to get his permission to post his one he wrote at the Grand Canyon!).
